NSP is a partnership of senior trainers of psychodrama who have been working together since 1996 providing training in psychodrama and action methods.
Our core training is underpinned by the Person Centred Approach and ours is the only psychodrama training in the UK based on that theoretical orientation.
NSP invites trainers from other theoretical orientations to facilitate some of our open workshops.
Applicants for NSP courses must be physically and emotionally able to undertake the training programme for which they apply.
The Northern School of Psychodrama is committed to a policy of equal opportunity and welcomes applications from those interested in learning to use action methods and psychodrama in the various settings of group psychotherapy, individual therapies and training / education.
Applications from people of any ethnicity, nationality, faith community, gender identity, sexuality, age, class background and physical ability are welcome. NSP recognises that some groups are under-represented in psychotherapy training and endeavours to increase and support the involvement of those who have been traditionally marginalised.
NSP aims to make psychodrama training available over a wide geographical area and training events are held in a number of areas - including Cumbria, the Scottish Borders, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
Applicants will need to meet the requirements of enhanced Disclosure Scotland / enhanced CRB checks.
